Mr. Ramkhelawan is the founder director and former Managing Director of Bourse Securities Limited. He has served as Director on several boards in Trinidad and Tobago as well as across the Caribbean.

He is a former Chairman and Director of the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange Limited (TTSE). Over the period 2007–2014 Mr. Ramkhelawan has also served in public office as an independent Senator in the Parliament of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and as member of the country’s Integrity Commission during 2000–2003. He holds a B.Sc. in Management from the University of the West Indies and an MBA (1983) from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
